July 5, 2014 marked a very hot day. At one point the thermometer on the car read 36°C, not even taking the high humidity into consideration, and for the first time in 3 years, my husband received an error message on his phone that it was too hot to function properly! Regardless, the weather did not take away from this beautiful backyard wedding (and it probably even made the ice cream dessert during the reception taste that much more incredible!).
Rebecca’s love of sparkle was evidenced in many different ways – the four sweet little flower girls with their tiaras who left a trail of fairy dust wherever they went, the dainty bling on the bride’s wedding gown, the flashy, yet classy, glitter balls lining the aisle, the sparkling numbers on the tables, the exquisite ceiling drapery lined with twinkling lights, and the jeweled letters above the head table, just to name a few! Striking red and teal pops of color accented the décor, the fashion, and the flowers.
As amazing as all the details were, I think what I enjoyed most about this wedding was the people. These two families that came together in marriage are absolutely beautiful in character. The parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, adorable nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins (and there are lots of them!) – they are all wonderful treasures, and I am so excited for this couple to share with each other these cherished relationships.
